Sunday Worship: 10:30 am each week
On Sunday 26th January 2020 we welcome Jamie Campbell from SASRA (The Soldiers’ & Airmen’s Scripture Readers Association) to speak to us. https://www.sasra.org.uk/
Our services are usually led by the Minister and often other members of the church take part. Services include sung worship, prayers, bible reading and usually a sermon (talk). We celebrate Communion on the 3rd Sunday of each month. Occasionally we have visiting speakers who share with us about other work and organisations around the world.
Musically we use a variety of instruments including the church organ and piano, sometimes supported by woodwind and bass guitar. Singing is usually led by a small team of vocalists but we also use pre-recorded music and vocals on occasion, particularly with newer songs.
Worship is more on the traditional style; we are open to using both set liturgy and the more free and contemporary.
Evening Worship occurs monthly in different churches in conjunction with Churches Together in Heathfield and District. The venue each time is in their programme.
During the period of Lent (the five weeks prior to Easter) there are united evening services organised by Churches Together in Heathfield and District held at Heathfield Community Centre in Sheepsetting Lane.
